RESISTANCE THERMOMETER CABLES

Standard section cables are used between resistance thermometers and the device. Because resistance thermometers have a resistance value that changes with temperature, the resistance value of the cable to be used between R / T and the device is important. With standard usage, 2x1.5mm2 copper cables with 0.2 ohm resistance per meter are preferred.In resistance thermometer applications, the distance between R / T and the device is very important. Cables with different vein numbers are preferred according to the length of the distance.

 

Therefore, there are two-wire, three-wire and four-wire cable pulling methods.

Two wires; 2x1.5mm2 section up to 10m

Three wires; 3x1.5mm2 section up to 150m

Four wires; 4x1.5mm2 section up to 150m, cables are used.
