Mineral insulated thermocouples are widely used in many different areas.
 

Areas of use ;
* Liquid and gaseous environments such as water, air, oil and gas,
* Pipelines, tanks, machinery and apparatus, test centers and laboratories,
* Reactors, pressure vessels, nuclear power plants, chemical industries.

They offer a wide range of possibilities in many areas as they are bendable and have low diameters. They can be entangled like a cable due to its flexible feature in environments where it can work within temperature limits. They are preferred to measure under-car temperature in moving vehicles in tunnel furnaces or to measure the temperature distribution within the furnace.

Mineral insulated thermocouples are fixed to the process to be used by raccord, flange or welding method. Mineral insulated inset types are commonly preferred types.
Inset is mounted with spring compression into the thermocouple head.
