Sensor cables are used to connect the control
devices to any sensors. Thermocouple cables are different from resistance
thermometers cables.
Conductor wires of the compensation cables
are convenient with the thermocouple element wires. For examle, Fe-Const
thermocouple uses Fe-Const compensation cable and etc.
Compensation cables resemble the thermo-electric
properties of the appropriate thermocouples up to a temperature usually
not exceeding 80°C.
Compensation cables are produced within various
izolations. While ordering, cable isolations should be determined.
Like element wires, compensation cables have (+) and (-) poles. Connection
should be made by using that info. (Below, you can find the color
codes for thermocouple compensation cables).
Between resistance thermometers and control
devices, various types of copper cables are used. Copper diameter
is an importand point for the connection. Generally, 0,2 ohm, 2x1,5
mm² cables are used.
Cable distance is an important point for resistance
thermometers also. Two wired cables can be used at the length of 10m,
till 150m three wired cables and exceeding lengths four wired cables
are used.
Element type is represented as R in resistance
thermometer cables. All the other informations are same as in the
thermocouple informations. |
