Mineral Insulated thermocouples are widely used in temperature range of -40°C to +1600°C in different type of processes. Odd or even element thermocouple wires are isolated by compressing into a metal sheath with high pure metal oxide dust.
In the ORDEL catalog, mineral insulated thermocouples that are used to a temperature of 1200°C are examined.
Because they are small and twistable, they are preferred in many processes and portable applications.
They are used in various machines, tanks, pipelines, laboratory applications, environment of air, water, oil or gas, power plants, pressured containers, reactors and chemistry industry.
Because they are twistable, they can be used like a wire in the limits of its temperature. They are used in tunnel ovens to measure the temperature of a movable material or to measure the temperature distribution inside oven.
